A declining business: therapy innovations reduced the need for frequent diagnostic testing, and traditional point-of-care devices in hospitals and GP practices were losing relevance. The device itself had excellent analytical performance, but outdated Bluetooth connectivity, while patients and providers increasingly demanded flexible, remote care.

Solution

Shift from clinic-based diagnostics to a homecare testing model. A QR-code system carrying key patient and test information, plus a web-portal platform connecting patients directly with their treating physicians, compliant with national regulations and multilingual for global scalability.
